Undergraduate Student
Savannah Kusnierz
Undergraduate Research Assistant - CE
Savannah is a rising sophomore majoring in Purdue University’s environmental engineering program. She is from Dayton, Ohio, but currently lives in Richmond, Virginia. Her interest in environmental engineering sparked from a deep appreciation of nature and its preservation for generations to come. She is interested in researching sustainable and renewable energy sources along with the social and legal implications these may have. She hopes to focus on long-term solutions for creating renewable energy sources and thus is working on a minor in environmental policy. By growing her knowledge about future sustainable energies, she plans to educate and inform others about new and economically viable developments in this field.
Outside of engineering, Savannah is a member of the Purdue Bands and Orchestras and the music service fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi. Savannah’s free time includes growing her garden, reading, playing her saxophone, and cooking for her family.
